Pineapple Cake Recipe





Cake:
*two cups of all purpose flour
*One cup of brown sugar
*one teaspoon of baking soda
*One can of crushed pineapple with juice
* one tsp of vanilla
*One egg (large) and two eggs whites (large)
*One tsp of salt

Mix and blend every thing for about two minutes (in low speed). Put it in a (nine inch) greased square pan. Pre heat for 350 degrees and bake for about 45 minutes.

Topping:

*Half cup of dark brown sugar
*Half cup of milk (1%)
*Half cup of pecans or (walnuts) well chopped

 

Sauce:
* A quarter cup of melted butter
* A quarter cup of milk (1%)
* A quarter cup of brown sugar
* One tsp of vanilla extract
 
Finishing and putting everything all together:

*Take the cake from the oven
*Then take the topping mixture and spread it over the cake.
*Then over it, make little holes all over the cake with a knife or a toothpick.
*Put on the sauce on
*Place the cake on a foil lined jell roll pan before putting  it into the oven because it will drip
*Place the cake in the oven for about twenty minutes.

Serving it warm is the best way.

This is the best way to serve it:

Slice lengthwise a pineapple, leave the leaves and cut them lengthwise too. Then scoop out the fruit by running a knife around the edge of the pineapple to the bottom, and remove the fruit all in a piece. Then cut the pineapple into big squares. Afterwards, Toast about a half cup of shredded coconut. Then place the cut fruit in a pineapple boat and add the toasted coconut. ;lastly, Cut the cake into squares as well and place the squares on a nice serving plate.
